Singleton is an outer southern suburb of Perth, located within the City of Rockingham. It has a land area of approximately 3.62 square kilometres and is bounded by the suburb of Golden Bay in the north, Mandurah Road in the east, the City of Mandurah in the south, and the Indian Ocean in the west.

The suburb is approximately 64 kilometres from the Perth CBD which is a 55-minute drive by car. Paganoni Road takes you to the Kwinana Freeway, and on to Perth or Bunbury. Mandurah Road takes you to the centre of this popular coastal town in under 10 minutes. Port Kennedy, Lakelands and Secret Harbour are all within a few kilometres of Vista, while Rockingham town centre is only 25 minutes to the north.
