Madora Bay

Madora Bay is the northernmost suburb of Mandurah on the coast between Mandurah and Rockingham. Madora Bay covers 3.7092 square kilometres is approximately 58 kilometres from the Perth CBD. Madora Bay is bounded by the City of Rockingham boundary in the north, Fremantle Road in the east, Karinga Road in the south and the Indian Ocean in the west.



Madora Bay is regarded by many as one of the best places to live because of its beachside location and ease of access to Perth. Located just 10 minutes north of Mandurah, and 50 minutes south of Perth, this beachside community is the ideal suburb to escape from the hustle of city life. If you need to travel into Perth for work, public transport is convenient with buses right on your doorstep and the Mandurah Train Station just a short stroll away. A train ride into the Perth CBD on the Mandurah Line takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

This whisper quiet community and its pristine beach is a valued natural and recreational asset. Madora Bay is a popular holiday destination, a place for walking, swimming, surfing and fishing. There are plenty of parks, bushland and walking tracks to explore, plus a surf lifesaving club and world class 18-hole golf course.

For all your shopping needs, Lakelands Shopping Centre offers an array of retailers from everyday groceries and produce, eateries to specialty retail, outdoor spaces and services. Fresh food retailers include Coles and Aldi. The Centre also has a pharmacy, medical centre, newsagent, gym and bottle shop.

There are no schools in the suburb, but plenty in surrounding suburbs including Lakelands Primary School, Coastal Lakes College and Mandurah Baptist College all in Lakelands. For preschool care there is Goodstart Early Learning in Madora Bay, Nido Early School in Lakelands and Jelly Beans Childcare in Meadow Springs.
