Roelands is a small and peaceful town in the South West region of WA between Brunswick Junction and Bunbury. It is in the local government area of Harvey, approximately 150 kilometres from the Perth CBD. Travelling to Roelands will take about 2 hours by car heading down Kwinana Freeway and Forrest Highway.

Another picturesque spot is the Ferguson Valley wine region, where you can explore a range of wineries, restaurants and walking trails.

If you’re looking for a family-friendly activities, then Gnomesville in Wellington Mill is just a short 20-minute drive. A trip here will introduce you to thousands of quirky and unique garden gnomes located in a peaceful bushland setting. Other places popular with kids include, the local Australind Skate Park and Leschenault Leisure Centre. The Dolphin Discovery Centre is also great for a family day out.

For all your shopping needs, the Treendale Shopping Centre has a Woolworths Supermarket, Best & Less, The Reject Shop and a range of specialty stores and services, and is only 10 minutes from Roelands. Other nearby shopping destinations include the Eaton Fair Shopping Centre and Bunbury Forum Shopping Centre.

Roelands has one school in the suburb – Hope Christian College which is a private Christian school accepting students from Kindergarten to Year 12. There are three primary schools within a 4-kilometre drive; River Valley Primary School, St Michael’s and Brunswick Junction Primary School. Other options for high school are Our Lady of Mercy College and Australind Senior High School, both about a 12-minute drive.

The population of Roelands is estimated to be 845. Couples with children make up 49.7% of the town population, followed by couples without children at 43.6%. Single parent families make up 5%.
