Millbridge

Millbridge is a suburb located in the City of Bunbury. Its local government area is the Shire of Dardanup. It is situated approximately 15 kilometres east of the Bunbury city centre and is bordered by Eaton to the west, Dardanup West to the south, and Wellington Mill to the east.

The suburb is mostly residential, with many families and young professionals living in the area. It has a community centre, library, and local shops that provide essential services to residents.

The suburb has several parks, including Millars Creek Reserve, which features playgrounds, barbecues, and picnic areas. There is also the Millbridge Nature Reserve, which has walking trails, birdwatching opportunities, and native vegetation. If you’re looking for indoor activities, Eaton’s Recreation Centre has lots to keep you fit with world-class fitness equipment, classes and crèche facilities.

Shopping, dining and entertainment are not far away. A five-minute drive takes you to Eaton Fair, one of WA’s largest regional shopping centres home to over 60 retail and dining options, including a 24-hour Kmart. Plans for a state-of-the-art cinema complex are also underway. Travelling 10 minutes south, will take you to Bunbury where restaurants, cafes, beaches, art galleries and shopping centres await. There is also the popular Bunbury Farmer’s Market which supports over 150 local growers with the freshest, most value-packed produce south of Perth.

The population of Millbridge is estimated to be 2,846. Couples with children make up 49.2% of the population, followed by couples without children at 38%. Single parent families make up 10.9%.

Annual growth of the suburb is sitting at 8.7%. Based on settled sales as of 16 March 2023, the median land price in the suburb is $207,500 (reiwa.com.au).
