Dunsborough is a relaxed yet refined coastal town in the Southwest of WA on the shores of Geographe Bay. It is located within the City of Busselton and approximately 254 kilometres south of Perth. A trip from the Perth CBD takes just under three hours.

Whilst Dunsborough is a popular tourist destination for Western Australians it is also a great place to set up home. Dunsborough is served by one government school, Dunsborough Primary School, and two private schools, Our Lady of the Cape Primary School and Cornerstone Christian College (a primary school campus in Quedjinup).

The population of Dunsborough is estimated to be 6,413. Of the families in Dunsborough, 43.9% were couple families without children, 43.7% were couple families with children and 8.1% were one parent families.
