Brabham

Brabham is located in the City of Swan in the Whiteman Ward. Brabham is part of the urban growth corridor and one of the fastest growing, most exciting suburbs to live, with predictions that the population will increase by nearly 85% over the next 30 years. It is approximately 21 kilometres and a 35-minute drive north-east of the Perth CBD. It sits just south of Henley Brook, which it was part of prior to May 2011.


Living in Brabham you’ll have all the amenities and services of established neighbours like Midland and Ellenbrook within arms’ reach, plus and the world-famous wine region of the Swan Valley on your doorstep. Shops, schools, transport, and medical services are just minutes’ away. Lord Street connects you to Reid Highway, with Tonkin Highway also an easy commute. Brand new multi-billion-dollar transport links, including the new NorthLink road and Whiteman Park Train station are also in the works which will get you to the Perth CBD in 25 minutes.

Imagine Perth’s best wineries, restaurants, parks and reserves for you to enjoy all year round. For the kids, they’ll never tire of the new Ariella Adventure Park with an exciting dragonfly play structure, walking trails, large grassy areas and shaded BBQs to enjoy some family time. Other parks and reserves nearby include Whiteman Park, Caversham Wildlife Park, Conservation Wetland Park and Brabham Neighbourhood Oval.

The Brabham Town Centre located on Everglades Avenue was newly built in mid-2021 and features a $30 million Coles supermarket, 15 speciality retailers, an alfresco dining area, gym, medical centre, nail salon, childcare centre and a variety of cafes and restaurants, with more residential, retail and commercial projects still to come.

There are many other shopping destinations close by including Ellenbrook Central, Woodlake Village Shopping Centre, Whiteman Edge Village and Caversham Village Shopping Centre all accessible in under 10 minutes.

Land estates are aplenty in Braham with titled lots available across varying lot sizes and prices. Whiteman Edge Estate by Stockland was the first to develop in 2011, with Ariella Private Estate by Cedar Woods, Avonlee Private Estare by TerraNovis, Flamewood Private Estate by Parcel Property and Brabham by Peet all following suit.

You won’t be short of schooling options living in Brabham. Children have access to a wide range of schools, both public and private in and around Brabham. Primary schools include; Brabham Primary School, Ellenbrook Independent Primary School, St Helena’s Catholic Primary School and Caversham Primary School. Secondary schools include; Ellenbrook Secondary College, Swan Valley Anglican Community School and Ellenbrook Christian College. For pre-school, there is a Nido Early Learning in the suburb.

The population of Brabham was 3,307 as of the 2016 census. Of the families in Brabham, 46% were couple families with children, 41.2% were couple families without children and 5.9% were one parent families.

Annual growth of the suburb is sitting at 12.1%. Based on settled sales as of 1 August 2022, the median land price in the suburb is $232,000 (reiwa.com.au).
