Plunkett Homes pledges to continue supporting Variety WA

Plunkett Homes has pledged its support to Variety WA for another two years, by continuing as a Major Partner and contributing $27,500 a year to the important children’s charity.

JWH Group, and its subsidiary Plunkett Homes, are longstanding supporters of Variety. Jay Walter, General Manager of the JWH Group, started taking part in the Variety Bash in 2011 and has been a huge supporter ever since. Between 2014 and 2021, Jay served on the Board of Variety WA, spending 2021 as Chair of the Board.

In 2015, Plunkett Homes teamed up with Variety WA to present the Variety of Choice Home Lottery. The fundraising initiative ran for three years, with money raised from ticket sales helping Variety WA to empower WA kids who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs.

In 2020, Plunkett Homes became a Major Partner of Variety WA, pledging significant financial support to the charity. Plunkett Homes stamp the Variety WA logo on new home slab pours, and promote the charity across social media, display home signage and out-of-home advertising.

Plunkett Homes staff have also participated in various volunteering activities to support Variety WA, including emergency care bag packing, and the Variety Christmas gift wrapping.

“Plunkett Homes is very proud to continue supporting Variety WA,” Plunkett Homes General Manager Micheal Vermey said. “We see the important work this charity does in helping West Australian kids who are sick, disadvantaged or living with a disability. It means so much to us to be a part of this, as a Major Partner.

“Variety is a fantastic organisation to sponsor, as it helps children when others can’t.”
